Hello again! I decided to take a few months off of the podcast to sort out stuff at home - music downloads, mixes for friends and CD artwork, etc. We'll be back with a new episode in the next few weeks, but for now - here's a mix reconstruction of Hexvessel's (the Finnish psychedelic folk band) "Houses Of Fir" - originally created in 2012. It's a great mix of psychedelia, folk and avant-garde. I wish Hexvessel had done some more, as I really like their selections on this.

It's RSD time again - it was a bit earlier this year - but we made the usual pilgrimage to Truck in Witney. Some great releases this year. We ended up at the pub as well - the rest of the gang couldn't make it, but we had a special guest: friend of the show, Paul. We trawled through our purchases and Paul regaled us with tales of this travels. Hope you enjoy this one - we had fun recording it.

We were meant to get together this month for the 5th Anniversary episode, but again, couldn't coordinate everyone's schedule. Instead, here's a reconstruction of Mogwai's International Tapes mix, originally released in August 2010. The tune selection (by Barry Burns) is definitely not what you think you would expect from them. I chose this also, because their brand-new studio album, "The Bad Fire", has just been released.

I found this mix on Soulseek - I don't know who Cam is and after an internet search, I'm none the wiser. It's a great selection of tunes, though, so I thought I would share. I made a couple of small alterations, but it's essentially intact. A definite late 60s/early 70s cult/psychedelic folk vibe!

Here we are again! It's a theme-time episode as well. For this one, the theme is "Songs You Hate From A Band/Artist You Love". Don't worry, as the tracks aren't all total stinkers, but a couple are pretty bad. There's book-chat, too and a loooooooong medley, seeing as it's been a few months since we had a medley.
