We were meant to get together this month for the 5th Anniversary episode, but again, couldn't coordinate everyone's schedule. Instead, here's a reconstruction of Mogwai's International Tapes mix, originally released in August 2010. The tune selection (by Barry Burns) is definitely not what you think you would expect from them. I chose this also, because their brand-new studio album, "The Bad Fire", has just been released.

There's book chat from Tracey and Malcolm and Matt takes us away to Ohio for "The State We're In". An extra-long "Medley Of The Departed" and a hip-hop X-Mas classic close the show. Enjoy!

I found this mix on Soulseek - I don't know who Cam is and after an internet search, I'm none the wiser. It's a great selection of tunes, though, so I thought I would share. I made a couple of small alterations, but it's essentially intact. A definite late 60s/early 70s cult/psychedelic folk vibe!

Here we are again! It's a theme-time episode as well. For this one, the theme is "Songs You Hate From A Band/Artist You Love". We didn't manage to get together at the end of August, so I did another mix reconstruction. This is another one I found online - Dazed did an interview with Tobacco, mainman for Pennsylvania psychedelic oddballs Black Moth Super Rainbow. They asked him to contribute a mix and he answered with the tracklist for this one. I couldn't find a download anywhere, so decided to make the mix myself.

We re-visit video game music! It's just the Treacherous Three this time around, as Ness was off festivalling. Matt and Owen choose some of their recent (and older) faves and Sean is along for the ride. A very tidy episode...and one of the shortest!
*Apologies for the quality of some of the audio - firing up Zoom for the first time on the new hard-drive was challenging and Owen's phone connection wavered a bit.
